Hello mate! How Are You? What do you have scheduled for today?
Hey mate – I’m fine… things are going well – I’m just like always in time trouble… think the day needs 36 hours for me 😉 my schedule for today? hmmmm… i was at 6 am in the office for my daytime-job, and now i’m in my studio in preparing my berlin-trip this week… after i’ll have to work on a remix, then a couple of hours sleep, back in the office and on the plane to berlin….
Please tell us a bit about your latest and upcoming releases!
I did “you” and “just before I leave” on Rüttelplatten (sublabel from shakerplates), “amme” on Affiniy lab and a remix together with my buddy Ronald Christoph for Eddy Romero & Frink on my own label schallbox records. There are also coming a few other releases, but I think it’s too much to name them all… but I’m specially looking forward to another track together with Ronald Christoph with remixes from Kotelett & Zadak and Smalltown collective on my on label…
Which release was the one who gave you the most attention so far?
I think this was “amme” on affinity lab, because the track made it in the deep-house charts on beatport. but i think i’ve get also a bit of attention for my “last dance” (with remixes from The Glitz, René Bourgeois & Dan Caster) on my own label… we’ll see what the next release will bring 😉
How would you describe your sound?
My sound is somewhere between house and techno. I not want to limit myself because of a genre. As long it’s grooving i can play it 😉
What was your funniest or craziest experience while touring?
puhhhhh – can’t name them all… there’s always something funny or crazy while touring. From a pick-up that doesn’t work, a club going soooo crazy, that the needles on the turntable always jump or not to get into a club, even when I should play… can’t wait for anything what’s coming up next!
