He is definitely one to note and admire from the Ibiza scene.
Hello mate! How Are You? What do you have scheduled for today?
I’m fine, thanks. Hope you are well too.
I’m making the final mixdown of my Remix for Roger Sanchez & Saliva Commandos‘ track, I can’t wait to release it! Also this morning I was checking demos for my label Too Many Rules, I received interesting tracks today. I have some great releases confirmed on the label from the amazing artists DJ Sneak, Groove Armada, Roger Sanchez and others. Later I will be checking promos and new music for my next gigs.
Please tell us a bit about your latest releases!
My latest release is a collaboration with Huxley called „You’re Everything“, it’s been released on my label Too Many Rules. Includes a Remix from Rogue D. It is being played by Carl Craig, Chus & Ceballos and others. My previous release was released on the legendary label Nervous Records alongside Iban Montoro & Jazzman Wax. Another of my previous EPs was „Fresh Prince“ played by Andrea Oliva, Cassy…
Which release was the one who gave you the most attention so far?
I think „Smashing Up“, it was played from many key DJs and received enormous support. Another was „Omatsuri“ alongside Le Vinyl that was played by Laurent Garnier and other top artists.
Tell us a bit about your upcoming releases! Is there anything special planned?
I’m gonna release my track „Smashing Up“ again, it will be out on my label Too Many Rules with huge remixes from Roger Sanchez & Groove Armada. Also I’m making Remixes for house icons DJ Sneak (for my label Too Many Rules) & Roger Sanchez (for Stealth Records). I have an upcoming EP on Cassy’s label Kwench, another EP on Rawthentic with a Remix from one of the biggest artists of House Music (unfortunately I can’t announce it yet), an EP on Junior Sanchez’s Brobot Records and others. The releases schedule is very busy for all this year!
As you are touring a lot, please tell us something about your experience. What is your favourite city or country and why?
It’s difficult to choose one… Ibiza is always a really good one! I’ve played in most of the main clubs over the last 15 years, I have many great experiences playing in the island. Berlin is wicked too, it’s special! I played at Sisyphos‘ anniversary last year and it was dope! But one of my favorite cities is Sydney where I’ve been playing for the last 8 years in a row with Space Ibiza World tour and in other festivals/clubs. It’s like my 2nd home. Tokyo is also the bomb! Especially Womb, what a club! To be honest, is not easy to choose one city or country, I love playing everywhere! Each place has something special and unique.
What were your TOP 5 gigs so far?
I would say these 5:
Space Ibiza last closing party
Sisyphos Berlin anniversary 2018
Space Ibiza at Greenwood Sydney 2017
Elrow Barcelona in 2014
What are your top 5 tracks that are really working the dance floor in your sets at the moment?
Javi Bora & Huxley – You’re Everything (Rogue D Remix)
Jairo Beltrami – Don’t Love Me
Reelow – Trust In The Groove
Paco Wegmann – Majestic
Javi Bora – Smashing Up
Thank you for your time and this interesting interview!
