Solvane’s activities are moved by passion. Making his style versatile and emotional, which allowed him to play the big stages around the globe; from Burning Man Festival to Fusion, from European capitals like London, Paris and Ibiza to Australia, Asia and the USA.
Since his teenage years, Solvane was playing on stage and discovered his enthusiasm for electronic music in his early twenties. The different styles in music throughout his life inspired him to experiment new things in his music style.
Since 10 years Solvane is producing his tracks in Berlin, his chosen home. His songs are supported by acts such as Claptone, Kollektiv Turmstraße as well as Digitalism. In 2016 he made it into the Electronica Charts by Beatport with his latest release “Ophelias’s Organ”, which is co-produced by Prismode und released by Ritter Butzke Studio.
Hello mate! How Are You? What do you have scheduled for today?
Hey Lars, I am fine. It’s 9am. I am drinking my first coffee and am answering your questions. Later today I’ll be meeting my friend Rob to talk about the finalization of a Video-Cut-Down of all my self-recorded videos from this year for a 2016 recap.
Please tell us a bit about your latest releases!
My latest release was together with my bro Prismode. It was a single called “Ophelia’s Organ” and was released with a Iorie Remix on Ritter Butzke Studio. Ritter Butzke also is my residence in Berlin.
Which release was the one who gave you the most attention so far?
This is hard to say. Beatport-wise it was my latest release. It has been in the Beatport Top20 Electronica Chart for several weeks. But other releases gained attention by big names and radio stations as well. But I haven’t had a “hit” – if you’re asking for that.
Tell us a bit about your upcoming releases! Is there anything special planned?
I´ve got a lot of tunes in the pipeline. My next thing to keep an eye on is my track “Justis” which will be a free release in the beginning of January, a cooperation with my good friend Daniele Di Martino.
As you are touring a lot, please tell us something about your experience. What is your favourite city or country and why?
I’ve had a great year with gigs in whole Europe and also Asia. But to be honest – the biggest surprise was Australia for me. I absolutely fell in love with this amazing country. I didn’t expect it and it catched me 100 percent! I don’t have a favorite city. I love a lot of cities I played in. Istanbul, Bangkok, Los Angeles, Kuala Lumpur, London, Barcelona are the first ones coming to my mind right now…
What were your TOP 5 gigs so far?
1) Fusion Festival (D)
2) Burning Man (USA)
3) Feel Festival (D)
4) Elrow @ Space Ibiza (Spain)
5) Ex!t @ Ritter Butzke Berlin (D)
What are your top 5 tracks that are really working the dance floor in your sets at the moment?

Oliver Koletzki – Iyewaye (Hatzler Remix)
