My Favourite Freaks Interview

Hello mate!  How Are You? What do you have scheduled for today?

Whatup freaks… doing excellent, thx. Spent today working a few upcoming shows I’m involved in producing in Los Angeles (Minimal Effort Halloween and my party Gari Safari), avoiding the US presidential debate, and recording this mix for y’all.

Please tell us a bit about your latest releases!

Actually (ha) just had my first three Beatport releases in the past month, the most recent being a remix Diego Cuevas and I did for M.in & Riven – Real Underground on My Favourite Freaks as the result of winning a remix contest. I’ve also just put a single out on Dilate Records alongside Human Life and Jackson Englund with a solid remix package, and a tune on a compilation by local LA label IMUNE.

Which release was the one who gave you the most attention so far?

Probably the remix for My Favourite Freaks! It’s been a real privelage to be involved.

Tell us a bit about your upcoming releases! Is there anything special planned?

Had some really exciting news from one of my favourite labels yesterday — can’t say much else yet. Our Gari Safari team is in the early stages of planning our very own label and I’ve got a bunch of new tunes that need to be shopped around, so keep your ears peeled.

As you are touring a lot, please tell us something about your experience. What is your favourite city or country and why?

My tour experience is still pretty limited at just over two years of gigs, but I’ve had amazing experiences playing in New York and San Francisco in the last month and Mexico this summer (playing on the beach sure doesn’t suck…). Aiming to hit Miami, Chicago, and hopefully Europe in the near future.

What were your TOP 5 gigs so far?

Still too easy for me to answer this accurately lol …

ROLLINGTUFF w/ Danny Daze, Hunter/Game – NoFilter, LA

What are your top 5 tracks that are really working the dance floor in your sets at the moment?
